I recently built a version of the Z-Card website designed for people arriving to the site on a mobile phone or other small screen interface. The basic look and feel was handed over to me by their internal creative team and I built it all using Smarty PHP framework. There was also a small and efficient bit of PHP to detect when a phone was connecting to the main site and to redirect them to this version instead. I also did a few extra little bits to make sure the site sized well on iphones and phone numbers and buttons were nicely clickable on touch screens.
